WINGS Fellow Elizabeth Bennet spoke about her work with wildlife in Malaysia
WINGS Fellow Elizabeth Bennet at the lavish spread out on by WINGS Board members, Hillary Wallace and Linda Plym. Liz spoke about her work as in Malaysia working with wildlife and her present work as Vice President of Species Conservation at the Wildlife Conservation Center. She told us that an immense, increasingly sophisticated illegal trade in wildlife parts conducted by organized crime, coupled with antiquated enforcement methods, are decimating the world’s most beloved species including rhinos, tigers, and elephants on a scale never before seen.
