WINGS as an Agent of Connectivity
WINGS Fellows are more than just scientists. They are entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders in their respective fields – which is why WINGS’ Managing Director Yael Jekogian recently spoke at the Women in Innovation and Connectivity conference as part of the United Nations Economic and Social Council’s Science, Technology and Innovation Forum.
She spoke alongside other stakeholders, including activists, scientists and ambassadors from around the world. She shared the innovation of our Fellows, which changes the way we look at the world, and discussed how the WINGS community aims to be a source of support and connectivity for them.
"WINGS Fellows tell us that women scientists use networks, they value networks, and they create networks,” she said. “Their work goes beyond research and innovative program design. WINGS Fellows are entrepreneurs ensuring that communities learn from and benefit from their science."
